The beginning...

JAS (registered under the Rajasthan Society Registration Act, 1958) is a philanthropic organization based in Jaipur (Pink City) of India. Since its inception in 2009, JAS’s endeavor has been to extend a helping hand to the community specially children, women and girls in difficult circumstances.

Jeevan Ashram Sanstha (JAS) was founded in 26 November, 2009 by a group of young people who felt a deep social concern towards the disadvantaged. Our focus is on education and awareness, community mobilization and collective action to bring about social change. Ours is a secular, nonprofit, and voluntary organization which had initiated the work with support from likeminded friends who would like to see social change for a constructive society that upholds the rights of each individual.

The organisation is accredited with FCRA since October14, 2013 and 12 AA and 80G .(February16, 2016).

At JAS , we are a group of likeminded people who collectively believe that everyone deserves a life of dignity.

It is a well-known fact that children and women living in difficult circumstances are considered secondary in most of the spheres of development and are more exploited and vulnerable. Thus we have been focusing our interventions to improve the lives of these people.
